We were delighted to welcome Her Majesty’s The Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ to Makevale who presented us with the highly coveted Queen’s Award for Innovation, one of the most prestigious business awards in the United Kingdom. The award acknowledges our development of special acrylic polymers used in orthopaedic applications.
During the visit to Makevale, the Lord Lieutenant also officially opened our brand new laboratory facilities at the Ware factory. Appropriately named ValLab in honour of Dr Val's legacy, the new laboratories highlight our dedication to investment in research and development as we continue along our strong growth path.
