The Prince of Wales, the Princess Royal and the Countess of Wessex were among the members of the monarchy who welcomed Makevale and other organisations to Windsor Castle for the Queen's Enterprise Awards.
Among the guests were representatives from winning businesses recognised for their contributions in certain categories including innovation for which Makevale was handed its award.
Makevale's CEO, Dr Samit Ahir (photographed below) said,
"It was inspiring to speak to people from a wide range of businesses located across the UK but with a shared vision. Dedication to excellence and investment in pioneering new ideas that will undoubtedly drive our great country forwards. I was particularly pleased to speak directly to Prince Charles about innovations within the polymers industry to solve environmental impacts in the future."
